$100 MIND Pledge

12 years ago, Weaver Elementary was a pilot school for an innovative learning program called Music Intelligence Neural Development, or MIND. The MIND Research Institute combines music instruction (piano) and graphically rich computerized math games to enhance students’ mathematical temporal ability. These skills build strong mathematical understanding.


Today, Weaver has become a model school for this proven learning system. All of our students (K-5) enjoy the benefits of the MIND program thanks to Friends of Weaver and your contribution!


MIND receives no funding from the State of California or from the Los Alamitos Unified School District. It is completely funded by Weaver parents through FOW's fundraising efforts. We ask that every Weaver family donate $100 to keep this progressive program thriving at Weaver. Your child will thank you for it!

ST Math Online Instructions

You can once again access Jiji ST math online.  Click here for instructions.  Students can replay already mastered concepts at home.  They can also access our math fluency program by clicking on the fluency icon.  Building addition, subtraction and multiplication automaticity is critical for building student confidence and ability in math.  We encourage our families to take a look at this program at home.  ST math is available for grade K-5 and Fluency is available for grades 1-5.
